2 recipes for making a gluten-free brownie

Preparing a gluten-free brownie is very easy and quick; For this reason, we have decided to share a couple of delicious recipes with you. Both preparations will only take between 25 and 30 minutes.so they will definitely be an option for when you want to enjoy a good dessert in no time.

Gluten-free brownies, the classic recipe

ingredients

  • Vegetable oil
  • 1 cup of sugar (200 g)
  • ¼ vanilla pod
  • 3 tbsp cocoa powder (45g)
  • ½ teaspoon salt (2.5 g)
  • 3 medium eggs
  • 1 tablespoon of baking soda (9 g)
  • 2 sticks of butter (150 g)
  • â…“ cup chopped walnuts (50 g)
  • 1 bar of dark chocolate for dessert, without sugar (150 g)
  • 1 cup gluten-free rice flour for cakes (200 g)

Preparation

  1. First we preheat the oven to 170ºC.
  2. Let’s melt the butter tablets in a bain-marie.
  3. We chop the chocolate as much as possible and add it to the pot with the butter. When all the pieces of dark chocolate have melted, add the cocoa powder.
  4. Mix so that the three ingredients mix well and add the sugar, a little at a time.
  5. Instead, we break the eggs into a bowl and proceed to beat them with a fork. Subsequently, we incorporate the eggs into the mixture that we have prepared previously and the vanilla pod.
  6. After mixing for a few seconds with enveloping movements, add the flour, salt and baking soda.
  7. Next, we grease a baking tray with a little vegetable oil, pour the brownie batter, add the nuts and put in the oven for 20 minutes.
  8. Once our classic gluten-free brownie is ready, we let it cool at room temperature for 5 minutes and then we can proceed to cut it into small pieces.

Gluten-free brownies, the banana alternative

ingredients

  • 1 medium egg
  • 2 bananas
  • 1 bar of sugar-free dark chocolate (150 g)
  • 1 sachet of brewer’s yeast (7 g)
  • 2 tablespoons of cassava flour (30 g)
  • 1 or 2 tablespoons of honey (25 or 50 g)
  • Optional: ground cinnamon

Preparation

  1. First we preheat the oven to 180ºC.
  2. Peel and chop the bananas. Subsequently, we proceed to work the pulp with the help of the hand blender.
  3. Separately, we chop the dark chocolate as much as possible and work it together with the banana pulp and honey.
  4. Break the egg and add it to the mixture. Mix and gradually add the flour. The result should be a thick dough with small dark pieces.
  5. Put the mixture in a saucepan over medium heat and immediately add the yeast. We mix with slow, enveloping movements. If we wish, we can add a teaspoon of ground cinnamon. After a few minutes of cooking we will notice how the dark colored pieces melt and the mixture begins to appear more and more homogeneous.
  6. Once the batter acquires the desired thickness and consistency, we pour it into the brownie molds and We take them to the oven for 15 minutes at 200 ºC. Note that banana slices can be added as decoration when pouring the mixture into the moulds.
