Lebanon reports its first death from cholera since the disease was detected in early October, according to Reuters.
Lebanon has reported its first death from cholera since the disease was detected on its territory in October, the Ministry of Health announced on Wednesday.
Lebanon recorded its first case of cholera since 1993 on October 5, likely the result of a serious outbreak in neighboring Syria that crossed the border between the two countries.
The total number of infections recorded so far has reached 26, the ministry said.
