A record prize of 195 million pounds has been won in the British lottery, according to Sky News.
A UK ticket holder has won a record £195m EuroMillions prize, UK lottery officials have announced. This is the biggest National Lottery win of all time. The winner also joins the group of just 15 people in the UK who have won more than £100m.
“What an amazing night for a UK ticket holder who scooped the biggest ever Euromillions jackpot of £195m. Players are urged to check their tickets and call us if they think they are tonight’s lucky record winner,” said Andy Carter of Camelot, the company that runs the National Lottery.
What can you buy with £195m?
The specialists calculated and found that after collecting the prize, the winner can buy 696 houses, four Gulfstream G550 jets, 23 Pisces-VI submarines, Southampton football club or a property in the most expensive area of London, with a steam bath and swimming pool, cinema room and fully equipped chef’s kitchen.
The previous record was set in May 2022, when a couple won £184 million.
