The authorities announce that the Animal Farm of the Sibiu Zoo has opened. Inside it, children can play, under supervision, with different farm animals.
The Animal Farm is a project initiated for children visiting the Zoo in Sibiu. There, they can interact with the farm’s domestic animals.
The works have been completed and some of the animals have been brought, so that from this weekend children can enjoy the new attraction at the Zoo, the local authorities announce.
What animals can children pet?
“Kids get to interact with and pet ducks, geese, ponies, dwarf cows, sheep and goats. Pigs, guinea fowls and domestic geese are yet to arrive at the Animal Farm. The farm is set up in the area of the entrance to the Zoo from the Dumbrava forest. Eight wooden shelters for animals, an observation tower and a rest area were built on the 800 square meters. The investment of 774,000 lei was secured from the local budget”, announced the press office of the Sibiu City Hall.
There is no additional fee to visit the Animal Farm, say representatives of the Sibiu City Hall.
